Macroscopic Description:
Iranian Antique Wooden Vein Onyx is one of the most precious and esteemed onyxes. The blocks of Iran Grey Onyx can be cut in the sense of the vein or against the vein. When the blocks are Cross Cut instead of Vein Cut, the slabs have consistency in color and vein patterns. The color varies between light gold, antique, brown and white. The Iran Grey Onyx slabs can then be polished. This Onyx is commonly chosen for prestigious details, usually because of its transparency in settings where the tile can be back-lighted.
Applications: floor tiles, claddings, kitchen and bathroom vanity tops, particularly suitable for interior claddings.
